Fillmore Park
The Town of Hume received a grant in 2004 to
upgrade the Fillmore Park. With the aid of Eagle Scout
candidates, Town forces, and volunteers, the Park was
reconditioned. The entire project should be completed
over approximately five years. A new pavilion, play
equipment, and landscaped flag and Memorial Day site are
planned. The memorial flag pole and garden area and
the pavilion have been completed. Plans are in the
works for the playground equipment.

Minard Park
A gazebo on the corner of Main and Torpey Street highlight
the Minard Park. The Town leases the lot for community
use. The Park was the idea of Mathew Brooks, who
developed the area for his Eagle Scout Candidacy Project.
The landscaped flower beds are maintained by a volunteer
group of residents.
